North Seattle’s A1 Hop Shops are women owned businesses.
The first A1 location at 104th and Greenwood was opened in
November 2011. This shop is a bottle shop, convenience store, and has a bar area and patio for guests to grab a pint to enjoy.
This location opening was followed by the bottle shop and bar at 144th and Greenwood in 2015, which also offers sandwiches, soups, and snacks. Since opening, both locations have gone under major improvements, changing with trends in the beer and wine world.
We pride ourselves with providing an incredible variety of beer, wine, cider, seltzer, and other items, all with great customer service.
Stop by for a pint, to fill a growler, and to grab beverages and snacks to go! Also, be sure to follow us on Instagram (@a1hopshop104th and @a1hopshop144th) for updates about new arrivals and events coming to each location.

Aubry Dugan5 StarReally great shop, love having it so close to home. Misty at the register is always a hoot and such a joy to talk to. She really brightens my day!Saturday 14th December 2024
Kiwi Adams5 StarWell exceeded our expectations! The store is conveniently located near the bus stop. They have a good selection of assorted canned goods and food. They also have a great variety of alcohol. I really enjoyed the mixed beer and cider packs. It was something different and allowed us to try some new beers we wouldn't have bought a full pack of.Friday 16th June 2023
Zach van Schouwen4 StarDecent convenience store with a large selection of beer, although prices feel a bit high. They have about a dozen beers on tap as well. The bar attracts a particularly strange local crowd, but it can be a fun place to have a drink. The staff are always nice.Friday 23rd June 2023
Krishna Viswanathan5 StarAlways have a great time here. Discovered it during Covid and have continued to go there for a great selection of drafts and in-case drinks. Food can be hit or miss as they are all done in the air fryer but lots of great options for food nearby that you can bring in. Bartenders are always friendly and will chat if you engage them or leave you alone.Tuesday 4th July 2023
